Most marketing teams that adopt AI image generation hit the same wall quickly: one person in the team knows how to prompt well, and everyone else produces inconsistent results that don’t match the brand. Every image generation session becomes a guessing game — different lighting, different tones, different aesthetic — and the output never quite looks like it came from the same brand. The knowledge of what works stays locked inside one person’s head, and the moment they’re unavailable, the whole visual production process breaks down.

We built a structured image prompt library — a documented, tested, ready-to-use system of prompts organised around the brand’s full visual content needs. Rather than producing ad hoc prompts for each request, we systematically mapped out every image use case the brand needed to cover: hero product shots, lifestyle content, seasonal campaigns, social media formats, ad creatives, and background textures.

For each use case we developed a base prompt template with fixed brand constants — lighting style, colour palette, mood, camera settings — and documented which variables to swap out for different products, settings, or seasons. Every prompt in the library was tested and validated against the brand’s visual guidelines before being included. The final deliverable was a structured Notion document the whole team could access, with prompts organised by content type, annotated with usage notes, and accompanied by example outputs for each template.

Any member of the marketing team can now open the library, pick the right prompt template for their content need, make the variable swaps, and generate on-brand imagery in under a minute — with no prompting experience required. Revision rounds dropped dramatically because outputs are consistent from the first generation. The brand’s visual production is no longer dependent on a single person’s expertise, and the library grows with the brand: new use cases get added and documented as they come up, making the system progressively more valuable over time.
