Project Overview

The Challenge

DPG Media’s marketing team was managing content calendars for multiple brands and channels simultaneously. Creating, approving, and scheduling posts was a heavily manual process — content briefs had to be written by hand, copy was drafted individually per platform, approvals went back and forth over email, and scheduling was done manually in each platform’s native tool. The volume of content required meant the team was constantly in reactive mode, with no time left for strategy or creativity.

The Solution

We built a multi-stage content automation pipeline in n8n that starts with a simple content brief entered into Airtable. From there, Claude AI automatically generates platform-native copy for LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook — adapting tone, length, and format for each channel while maintaining consistent brand voice. Each batch of generated posts is written back to Airtable for a fast human review step, and once approved with a single click, the workflow pushes everything to Buffer with the correct scheduling times pre-configured.

The system also pulls trending topics and recent brand news from a connected RSS feed, feeding them as context into Claude so the content stays timely and relevant without any extra manual input from the team.

The Results

What previously took a content manager a full day now takes under 15 minutes. The team went from publishing 3–4 posts per week to consistently publishing daily across all three platforms. Content quality improved because the team shifted their time from writing to reviewing and refining. DPG Media reported a significant increase in social media engagement within weeks of go-live, driven by the higher posting frequency and more consistent brand voice across channels.
